Maureen A. (Beckwith) Coe

Maureen A. Coe, 81, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday March 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born March 4, 1943 in Conneaut, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harold and Blanche (Towne) Beckwith.

Maureen was the secretary at the First Baptist Church, until her retirement, where she was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. She belonged to the Navy Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve Association and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Conneaut American Legion Cowle Post #151.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and doing crafts, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Survivors include her husband Ken whom she married on June 8, 1963; children, Tammy (Don) Otis, Teri (Chris) Yeast; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Osburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Christina Hyder and her son in law, Tony Hyder; sister Becky Breeden.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM, Thursday, Marcy 28, 2024 at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Leaf United Methodist Church Youth Group.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
